Welcome to the new non-profit organization MIDWEST POWER AND STRENGTH ORGANIZATION, Inc.
The president of the organization is world renound, Rick Hussey.
He has donated countless hours of his time to better individuals in the world of powerlifting.
Shawn Frankl, strongest 198 lb lifter ever, is the Vice-President.
James Grandick, top-notch 242 lb lifter is the Treasure and will assume position of Secretary shortly.

Our first order of business is filing for tax exempt status.
You will be updated continually on the progress.
We will qualify under the Amateur Athletic Organization as a Qualified Amateur Sports Organization.
We are organized to foster national or international amateur sports competition.
Also, we will conduct national or international competition in sports and/or support and develop amateur athletes for that competition.
The Exempt Organizations Specialist has returned a questionnaire.
We are making appropriate changes structurally to be compliant with exempt organization rules.
Our second order of business is to host the 2008 AMERICAN POWERLIFITNG FEDERATION NATIONALS!!!
YEAH!! We are super excited. The meet will be held May 30, 31 and June 1 at the Double Tree Hotel in Omaha, NE.

The meet is over and it was great to have everyone to Omaha! Results are linked above.
The vision we have for the organization, is for lifters to be able to make money from hosting meets.
Also, the organization will make them more likely to receive sponsorship from businesses owned by friends, family,
hometown health stores and nutrition companies nationwide.
Therefore, they can travel to top notch meets and capture national and world records.
They earn something to be proud of for the rest of their lives.
